"I just wanted you to know what an amazing experience my daughter, Sarah, had at "Way Of The Bow". Her bow was far beyond what we expected. All I can say is Wow! It's fast, silent and accurate. She will definitely be back." - Lisa, VT
Join Roots School for a five day overnight journey into the Way of the Bow. In this course, students get to handcraft a beautiful and functional bow and their own arrow. Outside of the time they spend building these ancient weapons we will get out into the forests to learn how to track wildlife, stalk quietly across the landscape, and of course, archery! As well as the physical skills we will also explore the code of the archer, an ethic of the responsibility with their weapon and in stewarding their landscape.
Location: Corinth, VT
Space is more limited in this program than our others and is first come first serve. All tools, materials, and meals are covered. Students will need to bring their own basic camping gear. We will send a comprehensive gear list upon registration.
This is a pretty focused and hardworking class, but the result is your own bow that can last you for years!
The bow making and archery will be taught by Brad Salon.
Online registrations are preferred, but registration by mail is accepted. Either proceed online above, or mail in the forms below with a check for the deposit.
