Join Roots School for a weekend campout and wilderness skills overnight. Bring your whole family or as a parent and child. We will have several instructors on hand to work with all ages at once.

We will explore new ways of using our senses in the natural world, learn the hazards to avoid, and how to investigate the tracks, plants, trees, and birds around us. We will learn the basics of fire building and even get hands on with bow drill friction fire making. While we get our dinner cooking on the fire we will learn and practice skills such as making string from wild plant fibers, coal burn, and/or carve spoons.  After camping out and breakfast we will dive back into a morning of skill building as we learn about stone tools, and play accuracy and/or awareness games.

Open to a range of experience levels. We will provide a simple and nutritious dinner and breakfast. All tools and materials included. Camping gear required, Click here for link. Please contact us with any questions.  Price wise; adults are $100, and kids are $50.
