What are Gait Studies? Gait refers to the movement pattern the animal is using and the corresponding gait pattern is left for trackers to interpret. In human terms, walk, jog, run, sprint, sit, stand, kneel, etc, etc.
This is a daily course, please bring your own food. Camping is available by request.
Join Roots for two days days, February 23rd and 24th, and learn to carve your own bow! In this course young students will take locally harvested saplings and carve them into basic working bows. Tool use, ethical harvesting, bow making basics, string making, and shooting will all be covered and done first hand. Bow making and carving are a great way to learn patience, focus, and gain a sense of confidence in building something with your own two hands. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come help out and enjoy a weekend of woodworking. Please bring your own lunch and warm clothes, we will be inside and out. Ages: 9-13 Time: 9:30 AM- 4 PM with a break for lunch around noon.
