Wilderness Survival Basics: Four Day - Fall

This class is overnight and includes camping.  

*This class is full.*   If you are interested in the long term survival program, there are still a couple spots available in the Wilderness Survival Immersion Program.

 

Join us for four packed days of survival basics! We will be running a Spring and Fall Version of this class with different skills emphasized and offered specific to the season. 

 

Fall Survival:

Shelter- Debris Shelter Overnight

Hand Drill and Bow Drill Fire

Wild Edible Identification and Foraging - Roots, Nuts, Seeds, Fruits, and Greens

Coal Burned Bowls

Spring Identification and Water Purification

Stone Tools Percussion Knapping

Wildlife Tracking- Gait Studies and Sign

Nature Awareness

Cordage- Stalk Fibers

Survival Hunting and Snares

Cooking By Fire

Weather Prediction 

 

 

*please note that camping is provided, but meals are not.  This is a website limitation.  We have We have a simple outdoor kitchen that is available for use.  Do bring a cooler if needed, but we have a few available if you don't have one and a freezer to exchange ice packs.
