2024 Long Term Programs

Wilderness Survival Immersion Project

Nine months, one weekend a month, starts with a 4 day course and ends with a 4 day full survival trip. Learn to take care of your most basic needs with just your own two hands, your mind, and your motivation. Build and sleep in shelters, become proficient at bow drill fire in all conditions, learn to purify water, find food through foraging edible plants, hunting, and trapping.

Traditional Bow Hunting Intensive

Build your own wooden bow and arrows from natural materials and learn to hunt your own food. Getting into hunting, especially bow hunting can seem a daunting goal. This course is designed to meet many skill and experience levels as we take you through tracking, scouting, hunt planning and tactics, conservation plots, camouflage, stalking, bow and arrow building, archery, and more.

The Gatherer's Program: Foraging, Herbal Medicine, & Basketry

Learn from the world of plants through hands on connections and experience. Sarah and several talent guest instructors will guide you through building willow and black ash gathering baskets and then use them to gather wild edibles and medicines.  Herbalism and foraging, and cordage will round out this 8 month, one weekend a month course.

 TBA Long Term Programs

In this 9 month program students will learn to meet their material needs using stone tool technology and traditional skills. Build your own bow and arrows, learn weaving techniques, bone, horn, and antler work, soapstone carving, tracking, hunting and foraging, rawhide pack baskets, food preservation, animal processing and more!
